The William and Mary Rowing Club kicked off the Spring racing season on Friday on the Chickahominy River. Fordham University was no easy competitor with a Division II rowing program, but the Tribe was up to the challenge. This year’s scrimmage with the Rams proved to be our greatest yet. Both men and women novice 8’s clinched victory in their heats followed by several close races for the varsity women’s 4 and varsity men’s 8. Results prove that the grueling winter months on the ergs are paying off. The Tribe heads to Lynchburg, VA on March 26th to take on Liberty University. Stay tuned for race results!
