The team spent the weekend in beautiful Chattanooga and competed valiantly against schools from the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and South. The world’s second largest regatta, the Hooch allows for tons of fun rowing with lots of BBQ on the side!
This fun homecoming celebration resulted in interesting meetings between members of WMRC, new and old, both on and off the water. The Tribe sent three boats, entered in the club category, to Boston this year. Our Men’s 4+, taking 29th out of 56, was narrowly edged out of being invited to return by 7 seconds. Our Men’s 8+ and Women’s 8+ placed 35th and 29th respectively, making for some exciting races on the Charles River.
