The Rowing Club’s Varsity Men’s squad had the opportunity to be invited to this year’s Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The regatta being one of the largest head races in the country, the Men’s 8+ faced many challenging competitors on the river. Coming in 17 seconds behind UNC, but beating crews from Clemson and Tufts University, the Varsity Men’s 8+ look forward to seeing a similar handful of crews at the Head of the Occoquan, almost the 6th largest head regatta in the nation, in a couple of weeks.
