The team’s final head race of the season took place back on the Occoquan under clear blue skies! All boats showed well with the Varsity Men’s 8+ taking 2nd! The Varsity Women’s 8+ finished 5th out of 25 and both Novice 8+’s took 7th. The Novice Men had 17 other boats in their race while the Novice Women had 20 other boats. The Varsity Women’s 4+ finished 14th out of 21. All together a great race day for the Sweep team. The Sculling team also had a great showing on Sunday with the Men’s Lightweight 2x and the Women’s Lightweight 2x both taking 2nd out of 3.
