Why do You Row?: When I joined the rowing team the first week of my freshman year, I had only ever heard of rowing in passing and I knew absolutely nothing about the sport. I jumped straight in and never looked back, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made so far at college. Being a coxswain is a great way to apply myself and exercise my mind outside of the classroom, and being a member of the team has given me some of the greatest friends I’ve ever had. Joining the rowing team has been instrumental in my growth as a college student and I am very thankful to everyone involved.
