The Head of the Occoquan finished off our Fall Racing Season. All of our crews performed well, but the Novice Men’s A boat as well as our Novice Women’s A boat deserve special recognition for their 3rd and 6th place finishes, respectively.
Overall another good race for the team. We did have a setback with the Novice Men’s 4+, who had a rigging problem and couldn’t really compete in their race, but learned from our mistakes.
A great race to start the fall season off with. Congratulations to all of the Novice Crews for stellar results in their first competition.
A weekend of good competition in Philadelphia, PA. Congratulations to the Women’s Novice 4, who placed 5th overall.
Mid-Atlantics was an extremely successful regatta for W&M. Varsity Women win Silver, Novice Women win Gold, and Novice Men win Bronze.
The Men’s Varsity 4+ went to Oak Ridge Tennessee to compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship Regatta and placed 10th out of the 29 crews in attendance.
