William and Mary Rowing Club’s Varsity Women’s squad represented at the Occoquan Chase regatta with a competitive 8+ this year. The boat had a successfull row, finishing only one second behind a crew from University of Mary Washington and besting another UMW boat by an entire minute. Two Virginia Tech boats and a University of James Madison crew are among the handful of other crews the Varsity Women placed ahead of at the regatta.
