Today Tribe rowers are putting down the books and making their way to the Volunteer state to race in the 2013 Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association’s championship regatta. A large regatta against similarly matched clubs, this is a must see for spectators. The course is one of the country’s premier venues: beautiful Melton Lake Park in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. For our novice rowers, this will be an eye-opening glimpse into the sport. It is also a great way to see how the rest of the Tribe stacks up with competition on a national stage!
