What is the format of the tournament?

When / Where is the tournament held and how do I get there?
The tournament will be held on September 21, 2013 at Kingsmill Resort. Kingsmill Resort is located at 1010 Kingsmill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Check out the Kingsmill resort map to see where the clubhouse and parking are prior to the event. We will be playing the plantation course which is a 6,432 yard, par 72 course designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. Visit Kingsmill’s website for a rundown of each hole in preparation for the tournament.
Are there prizes for the winners of the tournament?
YES! The top three teams will win the following prizes shown below. Additionally, there will be a consolation prize for the team with the highest score.
- $500 golf gift certificate
- $300 golf gift certificate
- $100 golf gift certificate
I like golf ok, but are there going to be fun games and challenges throughout the day?
YES!
Where do all of the tournament proceeds go?
All proceeds go to the WMRC Endowment Fund maintained by FWR. For more information on the endowment click here.
Does the fun stop after the golf tournament or will there be more fun off the golf course?
The tournament is designed to be a full day of fun which will include an after event in downtown Williamsburg.
Are there hotel rooms available at Kingsmill?
Yes, rooms are available at Kingsmill.
Can I sponsor the event?
Yes
