Friends of Tribe Rowing (FTR) is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization (501(c)3 corporation) irrevocably dedicated to and operated for charitable purposes. FTR exists in order to:
- Serve as the alumni organization for Tribe Rowing, also known as the William and Mary Rowing Club (WMRC), working closely with the Tribe Rowing board to keep alumni informed, interested in, and involved with the team
- Solicit and provide funds, services, or contributions in-kind for Tribe Rowing
- Provide information and historical experience in support of the Tribe Rowing
